Roller skin of
ball briquette press is the core component of ball briquette making machine. The quality of the roller skin directly determines the service life of the roller type briquette pressing machine.
The hardness of the roller skin is the most important parameter to measure the quality of the roller skin. The hardness of the roller skin depends on the alloy steel number and the final heat treatment technology level of the roller skin.
The production process of the roller skin of
roller type briquette press:
Firstly, according to the drawing of roller skin, the blank is made and then processed by lathe.
Next, the ball socket is carved on the circumference of the roll skin. Of course, the size and shape of the ball socket need to be determined by the diameter of the roll skin and the material pressed.
The last process is heat treatment, which is also the most critical one. In the case of the same raw materials, the hardness of the roll is determined by heat treatment.
Type of roller skin of
ball briquette forming machine:
The roller covers of ball press can be divided into two kinds: casting and forging. The commonly used steel grade for casting roller skin is 65 manganese alloy, which is relatively low in cost, but the hardness of roller skin is not very high and is not very wear-resistant. It is suitable for pressing fine materials such as pulverized coal, clay and so on.
The commonly used steel grade for forging roll covers is 9Cr2Mo, which costs a lot, but the hardness of roll covers is also relatively high. It can reach HRC62 or above. It is suitable for pressing rough materials such as iron powder and metal ore powder.
